The Ruhr region thrives on solidarity, as does our European Union.

At the "Europa, ich komm' aus dir!” festival on 17 October, we’ll be opening the doors of Bochum’s iconic ‘Matrix’ club to young people who are passionate about Europe. From the afternoon into evening, we’ll celebrate what unites young people across Europe and North Rhine-Westphalia: loud, great music, enthusiasm for the future, progressive politics and the desire to push the far right back on the defensive.

Please note: Following the debate festival, there will be a concert by Betterov at the Matrix – the voice of a generation, blending indie rock, post-punk and big emotions! All festival participants can attend the Betterov concert free of charge. Doors open on 17 October at 6 pm at the latest.

You can find the programme here.
Participants include:

  • Hannes Kreschel (Blogger, Kreschfield Report)
  • Gianni Matheja (Student)
  • Nour Idelbi (Innovator)
  • Jochen Ott (SPD NRW)
  • Giacomo Filibeck (PES)
